When the Inn was built in the 1800's shipping and ship building were major industries in Benicia. Captain Dillingham was one of the Sea Captains who made The Inn his home. His room reflects a nautical feel with its queen four poster bed and English walnut furnishings. The lighting is gentle with two sky lights in the high ceiling. The bath features a Jacuzzi tub with shower.
