Our Rooms
All rooms feature the following:

- Breakfast in The Cafe each morning.
- Microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, iron/board, hairdryer.
- Most rooms have Jacuzzi tubs.
- Sorry, we cannot accommodate children under 12 in our rooms.
- Pets are not permitted.
Commandant's Quarters
This premiere accommodation is located on the main floor in the front of the original 1854 structure and was the former front room and heart of the Paladini home. The extra large bath features a dry sauna and double Jacuzzi tub for the relaxation of you and yours. This is the perfect honeymoon suite or romantic getaway. A queen bed and a pullout twin bed are provided, so this room can accommodate 3 people (extra cost per night).

Orient Express
Named after the train whose name became synonymous with luxury, this too is a great way to travel. Located on the first floor, this room features a King-sized bed, a private patio to the rear and a deck area to the front in the garden. Reminiscent of the 1930's Oriental design period, the king-sized bed, rich colors and numerous Asian pieces make for an opulent yet comfortable feel.

Captain Dillingham
When the Inn was built in the 1800's, shipping and ship building were major industries in Benicia. Captain Dillingham was one of the Sea Captains who made The Inn his home, and his room reflects a nautical feel. A perfect room for 1 or 2, the queen bed boasts a Casper mattress, and the lighting is gentle with two skylights in the high ceiling. The bath features a Jacuzzi tub with shower.

Casablanca
As exotic as its name this large king room is located through French doors off the upper deck. It combines cathedral ceilings, lush linens, striking furniture and deco art for a feeling of escape to another place and time. Add the stunning tiled bath with Jacuzzi tub and shower and this will be a room you will want to "play again" and again.

Jack London
Our newest room is named for famed author Jack London, who spent a lot of time along the waterways off Benicia. It was during his time in Benicia that Jack London had many of the experiences he wrote about in "Tales of the Fish Patrol" & "John Barleycorn." In soothing shades of sand and blue reminiscent of the sea, this beautiful new King room is designed to be accessible for people with limited mobility, with low thresholds, bathroom grab bars, and a roll-in shower. It is fully accessible from the front & back, located directly off the Courtyard and opening onto the gardens. There is a back door entrance off the parking lot and a parking space reserved for handicapped parking.

Celia's Garden
Step from the upstairs deck overlooking the garden through the French doors into your own private garden. The high vaulted ceilings and abundance of light in this spacious king room coupled with the mahogany furnishings and original art make this a room you will want to visit again and again. Oceana
Oceana was the only child of Captain William Wallace Dillingham and Jane Paladini Dillingham. Located upstairs in the historic house, this room features the original ball and claw bathtub and marble sink, plus a stand-up shower. Oceana is a sunny room with a queen-sized bed, sloped ceiling, walls painted in rose, and a rich cranberry color carpet. The room overlooks the front garden and remains true to the original 1854 house.

"Gail and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Benicia Bay this past weekend. The room was excellent, very clean, well equipped with a comfortable king sized bed. The setting was outstanding and we were able to enjoy the outdoor patio with fire pit, sipping wine with friends from our yacht club in the late afternoon on Saturday. Our complimentary breakfast at First Street Cafe was great although we look forward to enjoying your new Bistrot on our next stay after it opens."
